The Doonans’ opened our first festival in Shrewsbury and it’s fitting that they’re back to open the 2008 event.

Over the years they have gained a deserved reputation for their high quality musicianship, sheer exuberance and their ability to be brilliant whilst having fun.

They will bring you a marvellous mixture of Celtic, soul, folk and pop songs and tunes, delivered with unsurpassed professionalism.

But it’s the dancers, Frances and Sarah, who really steal the show with their beautiful and dynamic routines.
