Boka Halat are a dance and concert band who mix traditional English music with cross-cultural rhythms from all over the world.

The name comes from the Wolof Gambian/Senegal language and translates as ‘mutual inspiration’, and it’s an apposite name as the music goes off in all kinds of unexpected directions – difficult to describe but all you need to know is that the music is varied, inspiring, exciting and fun.
