Named after a suburb of Olso, Majorstuen (pronounced "Mayerstuen") are a young fiddlers band scraping up a storm with new Norweigan roots sounds.

The Majorstuen fiddlers and cello & viola have refined their widely different musical dialects to a single, personal and playful common language.

All the group are virtuoso musicians and the group in full flight is a real sight to behold. They will open up many ears to a unique and powerful sound.
