We are delighted to get a samba band to this year’s festival. Formed in 1998, the Sambassadors of Groove are a community samba band of drummers and dancers from Leamington Spa in Warwickshire that perform across the West Midlands, the UK and Europe. Their musical director Russ Hick has immersed himself in the Latin percussion since the late 80’s. He instigated the Rugby School of Samba and then the Leamington School of Samba (Sambassadors of Groove). He also teach samba and percussion techniques in schools for the Warwickshire Music service
