The North British Sword dancers were founded to promote the dances of all northern Britain, from Lancashire to Shetland, Yorkshire to the Isle of Man.

Their repertoire currently consists of four Longsword and two rapper dances.

To describe them as merely sword dancers, however, would be to miss the essence of what it is to be a North Briton - Tweed, Belgian beer, curry and pickled eggs and herrings are also very important to them!
